Do I have to go…?

Several months into my grief journey, I felt I needed to look into grief support groups in town. I wasn’t ready to share too much, but I was willing to listen to others going through the grief process. I tried one group and it was not for me. Then, I heard about GriefShare that was beginning a 9 week program at my church. It turned out to be an excellent healing step for me!

There were about 20 people in class that were in different stages of the grief process. Some of the participants were dealing with grief they had held onto for years. Others, had recent losses and were finding their way. By the end of the 9 weeks there were more smiles, chatter and hugs. I encourage everyone to look into this program!
